Mini Excavators
Despite the cute name, mini excavators mean serious business. Powerful digging capabilities, combined with rubber tracks and a small overall size, allow them to perform heavy-duty work in tight quarters. They can also take on multiple attachments, including different types of buckets, trenchers, and hydraulic hammers.
Mini excavators are often paired with a skid steer loader, which provides digging and earth moving capabilities similar to a backhoe loader in two smaller machines. This does require two operators, so be sure you carefully consider the operating and purchasing costs before committing to a dual-machine setup.
